Construction dust is finer than household dust — it penetrates everywhere, coats surfaces with a film, and resists normal cleaning. It settles in vents, on top of door frames, inside cabinets, and in every crevice. Standard cleaning methods just move it around.
What specialized cleanup involves
HEPA vacuuming: fine-particle filtration that actually captures dust instead of blowing it back out.
Damp-wipe sequencing: surfaces wiped in order — top to bottom, back to front — so dust isn't re-deposited.
Detail work: inside cabinets, window tracks, vents, fixtures, switch plates — everywhere dust hides.
Multiple passes: the first pass gets the visible layer. The second gets what settled.
Timing matters
Schedule after ALL work is done — including punch list and touch-up paint. Cleaning mid-project means cleaning twice. We coordinate with your contractor's timeline.
